Melissa assembling the tool cart. Her fine craftsman gloves, and ratchets in hand. Soon she'll be grinding working and welding ont he truck. wooooohhahahahahhahahahahah.

Melissa's pic of Kyle and I working ont he floor. Such a great pic and a great photographer.

The Heater that makes me sweat, and keeps the garage warm. 55k BTU. Like a little rocket.

Here's Kyle's completely B.A. Scout. He too has a bunch of work ahead of him. Yes We'll be in the garage for a long time.

Here's some pics of the finished structure for the inside. Finished welding in the foot braces last night, so now I can focus on fitting the seat and skinning the floor.

Here are some pics of the progress to date. Since the truck was channeled when i purchased it, I decided to leave it that way. So this is what i've done so far. I bought some 1" square tubing and some 1 1/4" heavy duty square tubing and framed up the sub floor for the channeled sections. I started welding, and that's cool. Didn't know I could do it, but I watched kyle and tried it out for myself. Soon Melissa will be welding, she'll be addicted in no time. Kyle went over my welds and beefed them suckers up. Just cause I haven't got a handle on the situation yet.

Last night I managed to finish the right side subfloor and weld in the seat brackets. We fitted the seat loosley. Later this week we can fit it enough to drill out the holes. Then it's all about skinning the floor and moving on to the dash and steering. While I was busy with this floor project Ryan was grinding the bed bolts off. Seeing the bed is from a 55 Ford, The fender mounting bolts were shaved off and primed. He also cut the old hardware off and is almost done preparing it for him and melissa to begin cutting it down. I'm going to take about a foot off the bed to make it fit the frame. Well that's about it for now.

It's Been a while, so here are some pics of the garage and a partially messed up truck. We moved in the middle of december and ended up having to tarp the roof cause it leaked, and put plastic on the inside because it's not a finished garage. Try to hold the heat in whenever possible. After Kyle rewired the entire garage and put new plywood down, I think we've had our share of fixing up someone else's garage. Time to focus ont he vehicles. Kyle moved his Scout in today so now both vehicles reside in the Space. Most of you who read this actually already visited or have been working in the garage. So anyway, here's some pics.
