Good times with Fiberglass.
So here we are again. Two updates within minutes of each other, holy shit.
So let's get too it. Over christmas I managed to do a shit ton of work and get some things off my plate. One of which is installing a new heater core in the heater that was featured in the last post. Some other things involve finally installing the parking brake. Ryan and I managed to figure it out and now it's all hooked up.
Next on the plate was the filling of gaps and craters that plagues the welded together body. That's were the beauty of fiberglass came in. So far I have about 20 some hours of applying and shaving fiberglass off. It's addicting. perfecting a shape is very time consuming but it's worth it.
So here are some pics of the holiday spent in the garage.
Here are some pics of what other things I've done. Installed the headliner sound deadener and painting the interior after a semi ok attempt at finishing the inside it worked out to be ok.
Made no sense but it's 12:30am.
Now here is some outside work I've been doing. A little more fiberglassing and sanding
And here is melissa spreading on another coat to be sanded down tonight.
Also here are some pics of the radio melissa put together. It's gutted and only has an amp and a speaker in it. Setup for ipod only.
And finally I secured the gas tank. yeah
Well tonight it will be spent running wires sanding and more sanding.
Till the next post. Have a good one.
